It’s been 24 months since Everything Your Mama Made & More (*affiliate links throughout this post) opened shop so 24 bloggers have come together to celebrate!
*NOTE* The links below won’t show the tour posts until 11am PST on their day of the tour, BUT you are welcome to click through and check their blogs out at any time.
In honor of the celebration, I sewed up a new Four Seasons Cardigan for Bean. I thought it would be perfect to add to her school clothes list as a layer for the cool autumn weather.
The size 4 is a great fit on her, but I did use the extra long sleeve markings to make sure the sleeves will fit for the whole season. There are lots of sleeve options which make this cardi a great buy.
It was a little warm out for layering here in MD, but Bean was a trooper for the pics. Most of that was due to her excitement about her new “purple” cardigan, hehe. It matches her octopus Paneled Sunsuit jumper so we’ll be able to extend the life of her jumper through a bit of school provided she doesn’t grow another inch in August like she has each of the past two months.
I like that the back of the Four Seasons Cardigan fits like a regular sweater because it helps hold the drapey front in place and the cardi stays put on her shoulders. For the older girls this may not be an issue, but I know a certain four year old who would take her cardi right off if it started slipping so I’m thankful for the smart designing.
You may remember the Kenzie’s Party Dress (skirt) that I made for Bean last Thanksgiving? Well that’s an EYMM pattern that she’s worn a ton of times and it’s definitely become a favorite. I think this new cardi pattern will be a fast favorite too and luckily it comes in a great size range: nb through 18 tween!
Now, not only is there an AMAZING blog tour going on but 1 lucky winner that leaves a comment below between now and 8.3.15 will win a FREE EYMM pattern of their choice!!!! Which one would you pick? Then hop on over to EYMM to check out the awesome SALE, and an even bigger celebration giveaway with over $1000 in prizes. There will be 40 winners in all.
