Advice for someone thinking about sewing for themselves: Start simple, and *never* skip your muslin! Nothing deflates one’s self-care sew-jo like an ill fitting project that spoiled your favorite fabrics. Embrace your muslin as your sewing education! Every seam-rip and fit adjustment prepares you for your next project.
