Phat Quarters and Crafting Con banded together to sponsor a For the Love of Legends tour and it’s super fun!
We were to pick any legend and sew something that inspired us. My husband and I have admittedly been watching too much Trailer Park Boys this winter so of course I picked the “Samsquanch.” I made a freezer paper stencil template for you guys to download for free if you like. Click here for the template. This is a Craftsy affiliate link, but it doesn’t cost you anything to sign up for a Craftsy account and then the template is available to you.
Bean thought it was so funny when I showed her the template I made, but she thought it was the abominable snowman. She asked me to paint him white so she could pretend he was abominable so I obliged, hehe.
I rushed the freezer paper stenciling a bit since this was a LAST MINUTE project (I’ve been swamped with pattern testing/design stuff so this was completely my fault) so it’s not as perfect as I would have liked, but the extra gold glitter glue globbed on the front makes up for any mistakes. Or really it just makes the whole thing look muddled, but Bean LOVES it, hehe.
Here she was pretending to be “abominable.”
And this just looks like the yeti has a question, hehe.
I used the Tinley Tee (*affiliate link) from GYCT Designs since it’s my favorite go to tee pattern. I sewed a size 5 and it’s perfect. Bean is wearing her Calvin Cargo Pants from Momma Quail Patterns and we still LOVE them too.
