I’m in love with testers. They do so much work helping to make each pattern the best it can be, and the Classic Maillot testers deserve a shout out. So since it’s Summer Swimwear Tour week and the tour post teasers are posted on The Wolf and the Tree this morning, I thought it was the perfect time to share all the lovely swimwear they made.
Just look at all those amazing swimsuits! If you like what you see you can purchase the Classic Maillot here with 20% off using the code SWIMTOUR this week. I’m seriously so proud of how everyone’s swimwear turned out so let’s take a closer look:
First up is Karly of Paisley Roots. She’s amazing with swimwear so there’s no shock that her first pretest of the view A swimsuit was perfect.
Creations by Maggie made a few view A swimsuits and view E tankinis (more from her coming later this week too!) and her girl is just adorable!
Kate from Kate Will Knit‘s girl was a star for the photo shoot in her view C maillot since they’re in the Southern Hemisphere and it was COLD!
Essence from Adventures with Bubba and Bug made a lovely tankini view F for her girl.
Felicia’s view A turned out great and I love that shade of yellow on her girl.
Gina from Penny Sew Vintage also made a few versions, but I just ADORE this view E/view G mashup one she posted.
Lisa from Sewing Life Together has a perfect fabric pairing with this view B in polka dots and flamingos.
Here’s another view B with a great fabric combo, this one on Anita’s girl.
Shannon‘s girl loves her view D maillot!
Katie’s girl looks so great in this view E tankini and she was one of the first “older” versions to finish so I was very excited to see the fit on her.
And speaking of the higher end of the sizing, how stunning does this view E look on Tone from Bless by Tone‘s girl? It’s so good in this solid color.
This was Marie-Eve‘s muslin of view A and I just had to share. What a great wearable muslin!
And last but certainly not least is Zoe from Soul Fed on a Thread‘s view D. This is Zoe’s first time sewing swimwear AND she says her girl is super thin so fitting can be a problem. This maillot fits her to a T and we couldn’t be more thrilled with her first time success!!
That’s 17 patterns + $30 in fabric!!
