The Sash Swimsuit was released on Friday and I’ve loved sharing some of the views around the interwebs this weekend, but I’ve held back loads more to show you today! This week on Call Ajaire, we’re dedicating to SWIM and there is so much goodness in store for you, so buckle up… Let’s start with the people who help make it all happen
Testers make the world go round, don’t they? It’s such an important part of the design process and I can’t thank my testers enough for all of the work they do.
We’ll start with these four lovely ladies above. Lesley made a great view D which I love with a solid color and floral. April’s girl looks ADORABLE in her mama made tankini and you should definitely click over to see more of this girl and that octopus fabric. Carrie made a few Sash swimsuits, but this one in view A with those anchors is such a classic look I had to share. Carlada was concerned with getting just the right fit for her Mini and I think we were all blown away when her pics came through cause it’s just perfect. She topstitched her view C flounce instead of understitching and it suits the fabric just right.
Lisa’s colorblocking game is always strong, but I love those polka dots and stripes with her view B sash maillot. Just look as Michelle’s cutie in this ruffled view A. Isn’t that the perfect fabric for a baby swimsuit? And then there’s Laurel’s littlest in her cherry filled view C. I love how the neckline flounce just cascades over the top and those cherries are so yummy! Speaking of yummy….. Maggie’s girl is killing it in this watermelon fabric view E. She paired it with a Classic Maillot Swimskirt which is available for FREE in the shop. The combo is stunning.
Ellen’s view D was the first swimsuit to come through testing in the older girls’ sizes and I fell in love. The colorblocking works so well with these solids and her girl looks amazing in it. Zoe made her girl a view E tankini with the super fun optional long sleeve. I adore how this whole look (included a Classic Maillot SwimSkirt) came together. Melonie’s girl is rocking her view G tankini on the beach. The stripes and fish and polka dots make for a super fun combo! And then there’s Felicia’s girl in this gorgeous solid color view B maillot. Doesn’t it look elegant?
Evi made this beautiful view C maillot and the colors are stunning. Jen’s girl is also wearing a view C maillot with some fabulous fabrics. You have to check out the pics of her with her sunhat too. So sweet. Haili made a view G tankini and I so adore the floral fabric with the solid accents. Some of my favorite pics during testing were of her girl running around at the splash park in her new swimsuit. And finally Katrina’s girl in her view D colorblocked maillot in the sweetest colors.
Katrina also sent in some pics of her girl in another view D at gymnastics practice. The Sash Swimsuit makes a fantastic leotard, with or without the optional sleeves.
As you may have noticed in some of the other tester pics, the great thing about the Sash Swimsuit pattern is that you can make the asymmetrical shoulder go either direction, depending on how you cut out the pattern pieces. And nothing shows that feature off better than Laurel’s sweet girls in their complimentary view E tankinis. Again with those cherries!
I hope you’ve enjoyed all of these great testers and their swimsuits! Since it’s Swim week, both the Sash Swimsuit and the Classic Maillot patterns are on sale for just $5 a piece. Throughout the week we’ll be having giveaways on Instagram and in the Designs by Call Ajaire Facebook group so be sure to keep an eye out on those feeds!
