Did you hear the news? Project Run & Play has opened a shop to sell patterns that were designed by contestants during their season! I love this idea and was thrilled to help support PR&P’s newest endeavor by sewing up a Chestnut Tee by my friend Jess of Gracious Threads for the Grand Opening.
I made a size 8 for Bean since these long sleeves will be perfect for late fall/winter and I don’t want her to grow out of it too soon. The Chestnut Tee has sizing from 2T to 12 and the fit of this 8 is great. I’ve sewn this pattern before and she just recently grew out of the two tops I made previously, so this was perfect timing. I love how quickly this pattern sews up and yet it has plenty of style with the contrast front panel and cuffs.
I used the donuts cotton/lycra from Wolf & Rabbit that I’ve been hanging onto for a bit. It looks great with this mint solid they carry.
This week Project Run & Play is celebrating the grand opening by focusing on the separates patterns in the shop. All separates patterns are on sale for 20% off with no code necessary this week so don’t hesitate to check out the shop! The Chestnut Tee (and there’s a dress option too!) is a perfect staple top and you’ll love choosing fabrics to mix and match.
There’s a giveaway during this grand opening as well as the fun tour so be sure to check it all out. Enter through the rafflecopter below!
